A friendly & welcoming space for home educating families across Torbay, Exeter and South Devon.
We offer co-learning, play-based sessions, themed activities and relaxed socials — a place where children learn, create and make friends, and parents feel supported too. Drop-off sessions start from age 8, with parent-on-site options for younger learners.
Co-Learning Sessions (Ages 8–14)
A structured, supervised session where home-educated children bring their own learning materials and work alongside others. It’s a drop-off provision designed to build independence, confidence and routine—like a co-working space just for young people.
Intro to Co-Learning (Ages 8 - 14)
Lively, play-based sessions focused on socialisation, confidence-building and gently getting used to the environment. These sessions often include themed activities and are perfect for children transitioning from play-led learning into more independent work habits.
Mini Mornings (Ages 5–8)
These mornings blend play, light structure and gentle guidance, giving children the chance to explore a new environment and socialise with others at their own pace. Parents must stay on site, but you’re welcome to relax in a separate room while we support your child in the main space.
Co-working space for the grown ups
While your children are with us downstairs, you can book a quiet co-learning workspace upstairs at Eli House. Use it to work, read, rest, answer emails—or scroll TikTok guilt-free. You don’t need to be self-employed to use it; it’s simply a peaceful space for you to recharge or get things done.
Find Your Community -Social Mornings
Open to everyone - new families, younger siblings, grandparents, schooled children during holidays - anyone who wants to connect with the home education community. A relaxed morning with play, conversation and community spirit.
Themed Sessions (All Ages)
Our themed sessions run throughout the year and during school holidays. Open to both home-educated and schooled children, these sessions offer creative activities, hands-on projects and fun opportunities to learn, play and connect. Perfect for families juggling work, holidays and everything in between.

What We Expect From Those Who Use Our Space
To help us keep sessions safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that you are able to:
Show respect to staff, peers, and the space.
Use the space appropriately — equipment, furniture and resources are used safely and as intended.
Follow gentle guidance from staff (we use calm, clear instructions and positive redirection).
Use the bathroom independently
(unless their parent/carer chooses to stay on site and support them).
Socialise within their ability and boundaries — they don’t need to be outgoing, just comfortable in a small group setting.
Respect others’ boundaries — personal space, noise levels, and emotional cues.
